it's up to you to illumine the earth!

okay i am really really really off the schedule with my blog here. and guess why?
because of the good old Tom Hanks and his 'life is like a box of chocolates--you never know what you gonna get'. I don't even know where to begin--so much has happened, both good and bad--a total mix in my head, so...really, where do i start? let me see...i have many short tales in between two rides in a train kupe ( first one with a tiny boy and me telling him a Guy de Maupassant The Monkey's Paw scary story in the middle of the night and second one with a young man and me both on top bunks terrorising each other with IQ tests for 32 hours!!)...i think i'd better pour it out in small portions, oherwise it would be too much. and in order to not let my 'cup overflow' i'll go from here.

ugh, okay, first story is the heart story--for those aware: Turkey never happened. yes, exactly--it never did. and to be comletely truthful--i never believed it ever would. so cheers to one more 'glupiy glupiy glupiy stranger what a girl he's lost' pass by. i'm not even going to worry about it: love DOES happen only once in a lifetime (sorry everyone i really never change), one can't just LOSE it like one can not lose a part of their own self--soooo... guess,i should thank God MG and i turned out to be wrong for each other. what was pending for 8 months failed to be delivered. and oh my, how happy i am about it now... what a load off my shoulders. feels great!!!!

Shoot...i have just reread it, sounds pathetic, never mind this post, i am just in a weird mood. but i had to make it in order to get back to posting again.

when i was living with my host family in a little village in the south two weeks ago, the

mother of that family told me an interesting story. it goes something like this:
once upon a time there were two men. They were walking the earth each carrying a big

heavy cross on their backs. one of the men carried his cross with dignity and not even

once complained. The other one kept telling everyone about how unbearable his burden

was and kept asking the Lord to make it smaller. the Lord had compassion on the man

and made it smaller. the man became happier for a while but then repeated his plea to

the Lord. the Lord listened again and again made it smaller. and so it happened

several times. in the end these two men came upon a huge rock crevice. guess what

happend? right... the man with the big cross used it as a bridge and made it to the

other side. the man with his cross as big as a badge never found out what was on that other side...
...so true... if you want to be a sportsman--do weights. want to be a writer--make sure you read a lot. want to succeed in life, first learn to cope with the difficulties that lay on YOUR way and only then MAY BE your chance will come too.
...although... i never asked my host mom whether on that other side he met a beautiful princess, a treasure box or a hungry lion.
